Thank you!

Prof. Lorraine Daston talks about weather charts

Our conference ‘Curiously Drawn: early modern science as a visual pursuit’ took place in London last Thursday and Friday and, thanks to the input of the speakers and audiences, was a great success – many thanks to everyone for taking part.

Some of the participants will be posting blogs here about what they saw and heard at the conference, so check back for updates. We’re grateful to the artist Esteban Stevedore for providing some lovely sketches of the proceedings, and also to all of our tweeters.

The conference was accompanied by an exhibition (which you can still visit at the Royal Society), and we’ll shortly be creating a virtual re-enactment here.
